Joi sniffled and lowered her head. “I thought you weren’t attracted to me anymore because I’m fat,” she said, indicating her very swollen belly.
“You’re not fat, you’re gorgeous,” Angelo soothed her. He lowered himself to his knees and pushed Joi back until she sat on the edge of his desk. “You’re growing my baby in there, and you look so beautiful while you do it. It turns me the fuck on.”
“Really?” Joi panted.
Angelo nodded. “Let me prove it to you.”
And he did.
Three times.
When Joi left the Woodland Pack Incorporated building four hours later, after having lunch with her mate, she was smiling.
And she was wearing flats.
