“Chicken. I like chicken,” he muttered.
“Perfect,” Fiona could barely contain her excitement, astonished that she’d been able to lure her reclusive boss out of hiding at last. “You can come over around seven.”
“I’ll bring pie,” Tim replied, making it sound like a death sentence.
