Richard smiled and moved from his chair to the bed. "You can do that every day for the next seventy years," he said.
"In that case, I suppose I can marry you."
He laughed and pulled her to him. He kissed her thoroughly, thinking that his father's last case had led him to a life of promise and a love that could withstand anything the future had to bring.

I hope you've enjoyed spending time with April and Richard as they solved the mystery of retrieving the counterfeit plates and cash. I enjoyed visiting Roxanne St. Claire's world of Barefoot Bay and seeing the swaying palms and sandy beaches. The old guest house was a perfect setting for me as in a past life I was probably an architect or builder. My characters always drive the story and lead me to places I've never been with their adventures. Counterfeit Treasure was a new world with so much that was a wonder to discover. I enjoyed visiting with them, talking to them even at times when they wouldn't let me sleep.
