Shane Harris is a staff correspondent for National Journal, where he writes about intelligence, counterterrorism, and security. He has written for other national publications including the Washington Post, Slate, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, the U.S. Naval Institute’s Proceedings, and Government Executive magazine, where he was a writer and technology editor.
