      Acknowledgments

As always, thanks to Faith Hamlin. I don’t know what I’d do without your steady guidance and confidence. Michaela Hamilton launched Ellie’s story and my writing career. Thanks for your on-the-mark editing and endless support. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to grow as a writer and continue Ellie’s story. Many kudos to the team at Kensington Books. You’re all so easy to work with and the books always look amazing when they arrive on the shelves.

I have to send out a huge thank you to the librarians, the booksellers, and the readers who support my books. I’m delighted that so many people enjoy reading Ellie’s adventures. My writer friends, particularly the Good Girls and the Deadly Divas, help me stay on track when the word count seems overwhelming.

And for my family and friends, you’re the best. Thanks to John and Edwyna Honderich for being first readers and a terrific publicity team. Thanks to Jim and Jan Rosett for embracing me and my writing. Thanks to Glenn for, well, everything. I couldn’t do it without you. And, to Lauren and Jonathan, thanks for being my inspiration and reading me the comics when I get too serious.
