  Pro Monster, the Pronoun Superhero Monster!

  1. One day, in monster town, Smiling Sun overheard some ridiculous talking amongst the monsters. Nouno said to Verbo, "Nouno is going to the beach today, Verbo. Would Verbo like to go with Nouno?" Verbo looked right at Nouno and said "Verbo would like to go, but Verbo and Verbo's Mama are going shopping for a new bike for Verbo, Verbo is sorry."

  2. Even though the town was full of many super heroes, Shining Sun knew there was one missing. This super hero would allow people to say "me" or "I" instead of their own names in sentences. This superhero would have many magical words called "pronouns" to replace many names! Pronoun Superhero would have words like he, it, she, they, we, and others so you wouldn't have to say a name over and over!

  3. Smiling sun knew Nouno and Verbo were already local superheros so he had to think fast. All of a sudden he saw Pro Monster down below swinging on a swing saying "Pro Monster likes to swing in Pro Monster's yard!"

  4. Smiling Sun spoke to Pro Monster. "Pro monster, try these two pronouns and say the sentence again" and he gave Pro monster I and My. "I like to swing in my yard!" That sounds much better, now you don't sound like a baby pro-monster!

  5. Smiling Sun awarded Pro monster with a cape with the letters PRO on it. "You will be able to stop people everywhere from sounding silly in their sentences Pro Monster. And you can remember with this special hint. You are a Pro, and you also call yourself me, that should help you remember a pronoun's job!"
