“What you deserve,” he snaps, his eyes wicked, “is a hard spanking right now for your continued insubordination. You take that, and maybe I’ll consider rewarding you.”

“Do it,” I whisper into his ear, and bite the lobe, hard.
He growls and presses his hands against my body. “You don’t know what you’re asking.”
“Yes, I do. I want it.”
“You really do?” He pulls back to look into my eyes.
; I stick up my chin. “Are you afraid of me?”
He laughs, a dark, dirty chuckle. “Far from it, Cali. But once I start, you might be the one who experiences a little frisson of fear. You think you can handle that?”
“Yeah. I do.” My voice is tough, confident.
He smiles, and suddenly my stomach flips. I’m prey, and he’s the hunter. And I fucking love it. He scoops me up and puts me on my feet, in front of him. “Let’s see you ask for it, then. Last time you disobeyed me, do you remember what I threatened?” He raises an eyebrow and touches his belt.
My whole body sparks, like I touched a live wire. “You told me... you’d use the punishment strap on me, if you needed to spank me again.” My nipples are hard with desire.
“And here we are,” he says conversationally. “And I do need to spank you again. So unfortunately for you,” he slaps his thigh meaningfully, raising one eyebrow, “and your tender ass, this punishment is going to be far more memorable than the last one.”
He unbelts something from around his waist. It looks like leather, and it’s a lustrous black. Supple. My breath catches in my throat with fear and desire. The mixture is a drug to my veins.
He doubles it up and slaps it into his palm. “But we’ll start with my hand, like last time. Come.”
He nods at me and points to the spot between his spread legs.
I swallow hard and walk back to him, stand in between his thighs, feel the warmth of his body.
“Remove your garment, like last time.” His voice is granite, and I wonder if it’s taking all his willpower to play with me like this first, instead of just toss me onto the bed and fuck me hard.
Fumbling, I undo my jeans and slide them down my legs, and then off. I hold the denim in my hands until he takes it from me and tosses it behind him on the bed.
“This time we’ll start without the panties,” he says softly. “Give them to me, please.” He holds out one hand.
