He made a face. “Kill Draco? What in blazes are you talking about? I'm here on a totally different case."
He tried to brush past her, but she held her ground, pushing at his chest with her hands. “Bull shit, Luke. A few hours ago you could give a fuck about anything. You're not here for the agency, you're here to make yourself feel better for what happened that last night we were together."
Anger set in his jaw. “What happened? Nothing happened."
She grabbed his shoulders. “You let me go when I ran, after doing what you did in the alley, but all of that was on me, I did what I wanted, I had free will, you didn't force anything."
He grabbed her arm and twisted her off to the side, out of his way. “You're fucking crazy, Ross. You should have taken that leave of absence when they offered it."
"Luke, please don't go in there.” Cait fell to her knees, which was her next line of defense. “I'm begging you ... as the woman who loves you from the bottom of her heart and longs to submit to you."
She knew that would get him. “Let go,” he tried to free her clawing hands from his leg. “You don't know what you're saying."
"I do,” she wept. “I do."
Down to his feet, grasping his ankles, she continued her plea. “I don't want to lose you, please ... Luke, you were all that kept me going, that whole time with Draco. I thought of you, every minute, and I realize it now, when I thought it was him I loved, it was really you, so don't throw that away. If you kill him he wins, don't you get it? Your life will be wasted and he'll just get what he wants anyway. He doesn't care if he lives or dies. He died a long time ago. Long before either one of us even heard of his name."
"Caitlyn, stop it, you're making a scene."
"I don't care, I love you. I want to be with you, to be your wife. I want you for my husband so I can bear your children. Let me obey you, please. You know I belong to you. I'll be your slave, even."
She was speaking a mile a minute, blending the things she'd heard from Sarah with the wishes of her own heart. And now she could only hope he'd listen and feel the same.
"This is nonsense. Slavery doesn't exist. It's something we fight against, remember?"
"Not the consensual kind. That's different.” She got on all fours to kiss the toe of his shoe.
"I won't have this, Cait.” He whipped her to her feet, presumably to cast her off but something in her face seemed to make him hesitate. He just stood there frowning. This was it, she had him, she was sure of it.
"Master.” She mouthed the words, soft, pliant, an invitation to her own despoilment. “Don't go in there. Stay out here with me."
"Why not do both?” he reasoned. With that he kissed her, a full lip lock to disarm her, dismantling her plan and reversing once and for all her pretensions of control over the situation. It was true, from his perspective, he could do both and she would have to accept that now.
"If I go in there,” he released her, “it will because I want to, and you can't stop me."
"Yes, sir."
"And if I don't, that's my choice as well."
"Sir,” she moaned as he kissed at the side of her neck, the way that always drove her crazy.
"Go and sit in my car,” he ordered, pushing her away. “And wait."
She lowered her head. Without a word she went and did as she was told. It was too late, then. His mind was made up. Blood would be shed. One man dead, another in his place, in orange, a prisoner for life.
Ironic in its own way, she thought. The ultimate deep cover for Luke. A role that even the great Dumont could not break out of. Cait cried for a while in the passenger's seat and as the minutes dragged by she had worse and worse feelings about what was happening. What if Luke never came out? What if they took him right into custody and that was that? What if there were more victims today and Luke died, too?
She was on the verge of losing her mind over the possibilities when she saw him emerge from the steel door in the wall. Clean and fresh, completely unharmed.
Had he done what he set out to? Was the murder somehow disguised?
Luke hopped in the driver's side. “We'll get your car later. I want to drive a while."
She was dying to know what happened but she was afraid, too.
"Take off your pants,” he told her as they pulled onto the highway. “I want to play with you."
Cait pulled down the slacks and let her panty clad ass rest on the seat, no questions asked. “You didn't do it, did you?"
"Do what?"
"Kill Draco,” she supplied impatiently.
"Me? No. I couldn't give him the satisfaction."
Cait looked at his face, a slight smile creeping over it. She knew from his lightness and animation that he was proud of himself. He'd thought of something else, another angle.
"Tell me,” she wheedled. “Please?"
"Put your hand down your panties and I will."
She took it as a command, not a dare. “Yes, master."
He glanced across at her vigorous stroking. The smell of pussy filled the air.
"For starters, I went to see a man named Cordova. He's one of Draco's suppliers. I told him that Draco was working for us and that if he wanted to avoid getting ratted on, he better turn state's evidence, too."
The light went on in Caitlyn's brain. “That's the surest way to get Draco eliminated."
"Precisely. I did the same with two others just for insurance and then I went to tell the whole story to Draco himself. I wish you could have seen the look on his face."
"I give him a week,” Caitlyn predicted.
"If that. He'll hang himself if he's any kind of a man."
"He's not,” Cait assured him.
Luke put his arm around her shoulder. “Come here, you."
Cait spent the next hour on the freeway caressing her new master, his long thick dick sliding up and down the roof of her mouth.
She could hear Luke breathing and she was quite sure it was the most peace she'd ever seen him enjoying. It was the same way for her, too.
As he neared his climax, she readied herself lovingly. Such a wonderful beginning to their life together.
"I can't believe you're mine,” he croaked, stroking her hair.
Like a dream come true, she thought joyously. Now and forever.
