With a sigh, the first omega pushed his worries to the far corner of his mind. He was with River, where he was supposed to be, and he counted it a blessing they’d made this place their home, and River seemed to be over his insecurities. Despite his reservations, River continued to show kindness and consideration to those he’d been taught to fear or eschew. Josiah had no doubt the small pack they’d made would continue to expand, and perhaps in some way they would make a difference in the continuing feud between the species.
