Tamera loosened her hold. Grayson tilted his head to her abdomen and inhaled deeply, before again placing another kiss there. Looking back at her, he said, “You know I love you, right?”
Her bright smile returned. “I do. And you know I love you?”
“With all of your heart.”
His nostrils flared. A scent every male vampire could detect had him once again brushing her abdomen with his lips. Grayson raised his head and looked at his mate. Damn, he never thought he could ever be this happy. She had done that for him. Given him hope in his future, something he had never been aware he had even wanted. He now knew what Kane and Kaleb felt when they looked upon their mates. This woman had become his entire existence, and he couldn’t be more blessed for it.
“What has you grinning so?” Tamera asked as she settled more fully into the pillows and mattress, her voice now husky with drowsiness.
“You.”
She smiled lazily, her fingers returning to his hair. “Because you love me?”
“That.” He chuckled light-heartedly. Her scent told him his mate was expecting. “And because I’m going to be a daddy.”
