Darlene grinned and shrugged. “I don’t know, four or five, I guess. Three just seems like a weird number.”
Antonio couldn’t stop laughing and grinning. She made him feel good in every way.
“What’s so funny?” she asked him, confused by it.
He said, “Well, I guess you’ll want a whole lot of lovemaking for that.”
“Well, yeah, what’s wrong with that?” she admitted. “I mean, I’m here in New York to write romance books for a living. So why wouldn’t I want that in my real life?”
Darlene smiled back at him. So if you continue to treat me right . . . who knows? she thought to herself. And she was already thinking about having seconds and thirds and fourths with him in the sack that night.
First we’ll see what kind of stamina you have, she mused. But so far, so good.
