September 7th
It’s been a while since I last wrote. The big news: Kainoa and I are back together. It’s what I wanted, so why do I feel so unsatisfied?
Incidentally, my “friends” didn’t apologize for treating me like pond scum for the past two weeks. No big surprise there. It’s basically like we’re picking things up right where we left off, except Natalie is out of the picture now.
It turns out Natalie had a pretty rough summer herself. Believe it or not, I actually feel sorry for her. I’m not mad anymore…just confused.
I wanted everything to go back to the way it was before the break-up. Now I’m not sure that’s possible. Something’s changed. I think it might be me.
