“Wait!” I shouted.
Moons didn’t wait. He ripped off his pants.
I saw skin. A bony ass. A black thong.
Luucas slapped his hands over his eyes as Moons launched himself at the pole. Moons folded himself around the silver bar. He spun around twice.
And then flew off into the wall.
I shrieked. Luucas seemed torn between wanting to help and running away.
Luckily, my godfather is resilient. He sprang right back up and launched himself at the pole again.
I turned my full fury on Luucas, who had both hands over his eyes and was backing down the hall, away from the scene of the crime.
“You asked for a life-scarring incident?” I demanded.
“You’re right,” he said, nodding his head. “I did make everything worse.”
