And I have a new doctor. He’s an older guy. He looks a little bit like Robert De Niro. He’s upbeat and optimistic – good qualities to have in a doctor when you’re facing death.
I don’t know what lies ahead. I don’t know what the future holds or even how much future there is for me.
But I’m alone, and I’m desperately lonely.
