"Will you?"
"Will I what?"
"Go out with me?"
A sly smile slipped onto my lips. "Maybe. If you promise to take me some place more fashionable than the Mexican restaurant."
He grinned. "I think I can make that promise. So this means we're dating, right?"
I shrugged. "I hmhm-" He leaned down and pressed our lips together.
"Wow," I gasped.
"Regret not dating me sooner?" he teased.
I snorted. "Only if you can repeat that."
He leaned down and kissed me again. This one lasted longer, and left us even more breathless. When he pulled away I glared up at him.
"Maybe I should revoke your dating privileges," I threatened him.
I snorted. "Let's skip the fur and keep to the kissing."
"Gladly."
So we did, and somehow the relationship lasted for a long, long time.
