      1 Avocado

2 Slices of cucumber per person

      1 Scoop out the avocado.

2 Mash the flesh in a bowl with a fork until you get a smooth paste.

3 Rub the avocado on your face and place one slice of cucumber over each eye.

4 Lie back, switch on the TV and chill out!

5 Wash the avocado off after ten minutes and moisturise.

      Lyndz’s TV Star biscuits

      You will need:

110g (4oz) butter (at room temperature)

      50g (2oz) caster sugar

      175g (6oz) plain flour (sifted)

A baking sheet covered with greaseproof paper

      A rolling pin

      A star-shaped cutter

1 Set the oven to gas mark 2/300oF/150oC.

2 Put the butter and sugar in a large bowl and beat together until you have a smooth mixture.

3 Add the sifted flour and mix well.

4 Time to get messy! Using your hands, continue to mix the ingredients together until they form a soft dough.

5 Transfer the dough to a board covered with flour and roll out the mixture until it’s about 3–4mm thick.

6 Get your star cutter and cut out the biscuits, then put them on to the baking tray.

      7 Bake for 30 minutes.

Eat fruit and veggies every day – your body needs vitamins and minerals to grow great hair!

Exercise regularly – it stimulates circulation and keeps hair follicles in tip-top condition.

Wear a hat when you’re in the sun – your hair can burn too!

Massage your scalp gently for a few minutes once or twice a week to increase circulation.

Always wash your hair after you’ve been swimming to get rid of shine-stealing chemicals.

Wrap a towel round wet hair and press gently instead of rubbing it dry.

Dry your hair on the coolest setting to avoid frazzled hair.

Bring your favourite party clothes, shoes and accessories and dress up like a TV star.

Bring hair tongs, sparkly slides and hair bands and create your own celebrity look.

Clear a space down the centre of the room, put on some music and take it in turns to strut you stuff down the catwalk!

Pick your favourite song, learn the words, and hold your own X-factor or Pop Idol competition.

Have a terrific TV star sleepover! See you next time – get practising your favourite dance routine…
