Tray was taken aback. “You had the tape all this while? Why didn’t you show me?”
Guy embraced her and in his passion hurt her hand. She grimaced and drew back smothering her face with sweet little kisses.
“I wanted you to trust me for me, to take my word. It’s important for me that you trust me regardless of what the facts say."
“You really think highly of yourself don’t you?” She laughed at him. Why put them through all this. She didn’t understand him at times.
“I want to be with you Tracy, no one else will do for me.”His voice was husky with promises to come. If she wasn’t indisposed he would be showing her right now.
“So where does that leave us.” She had to know with him. His words weren’t enough. She needed commitment.
“Can we date again? Can I call you and spend one hour listening to your sweet voice?”
“You are making fun of me.” she laughed.
“Hey I like your stories. You are the most amusing sunny woman I know. I don’t want you to change. I love you for who you are.”
“My mom doesn’t like you much these days.”
“Your mom loves me. She’s the kindest person I know. She will forgive me even if you won’t like it.”He was smug about it.
“She will be happy to know that you are now in my good books. She has been rooting for you all these days. I love you.” She murmured.
Tracy closed her eyes and let everything in the past fade away. She was ready for a new future with Guy.
