I would like to start by thanking YOU for reading this book. I’m so grateful you have made Isis and the team a part of your life. Thank you and I truly hope you have enjoyed the adventure. Our world is so busy and sometimes so full of negativity. If I could bring you a smile for a few hours, I have accomplished my mission.
I’m blown away by the huge support and all the love The Intern Diaries has received. This series is a project of love and I’m so humbled by all the people that have joined the family. I don’t have enough words to thank the amazing Mr. J. Patton Tidwell for taking on the challenge of being my beta-reader. That was a huge undertaking, but his feedback and comments have made this book so much better. My heart goes out to my parents, brothers, sisters-in-law, my best friend and better half, and even to my cat Chincha. Without you, I probably would not have made it through this insane year.
Thanks to my Texarkana community that embraced me and supported this series with so much love. You guys gave me the courage to keep writing and sharing Isis’s adventures. To my community in Salem for all their love throughout the decades and embracing this journey with me. I’m blessed to have found a Ms. Cassandra Fear, who took on the challenge of being my editor. Thank you for sticking with me. To the great team of 100 Covers for the fabulous cover for this series. To the blurb-whisperer, Ms. Michelle Weidenbenner and the countless hours of working with me to get those blurbs and backs to flow together. To the amazing Ms. Courtney Shockey for putting all the pieces together and giving me a product ready to publish. Absolutely, it takes a village to get this done.
If you loved the book and have a moment to spare, I would really appreciate a short review as this helps new readers find my books. Help me to spread the word!
About D. C. Gomez
D. C. Gomez was born in the Dominican Republic and at the age of ten moved with her family to Salem, Massachusetts. After eight years in the magical “Witch City,” she moved to New York City to attend college. D. C. enrolled at New York University to study film and television.
In her junior year of college, she had an epiphany. She was young, naive, and knew nothing about the world or people. In an effort to expand her horizons and be able to create stories about humanity, she joined the US Army. She proudly served for four years.
Those experiences shaped her life. Her quirky, and sometimes morbid, sense of humor was developed. She has a love for those who served and the families that support them. She currently lives in the quaint city of Wake Village, Texas, with her furry roommate, Chincha.
