“Yeah?” He smirked, holding out the ring. “Well, I need you to wear this ring. I need to give you my last name. I need the world to know you’re mine. I need to fill this house with kids—the sooner the better. So as long as you’re getting what you want, how about giving me what I want?” Taking her hand off his chest, he held the ring just shy of her finger. “Come on, baby. Say yes. Say you’ll marry me.”
“Of course I’ll marry you.” She giggled as he slid the ring on her finger. “Was there ever a doubt?”
