"What?"
"When you get back from Turkey and start the new job. When my divorce is finally a done deal. Don't rent some apartment somewhere where I'm just going to be coming over every second I can anyway. Move in with me."
He had gone from holding back to racing head on into a very serious relationship.
"Are you sure?" she asked. The commute wouldn’t be that horrible and to be with Grant she’d happily sit in traffic for an hour or so.
"Never been surer of anything in my life." A broad grin spread across his face. "How do you feel about dogs?"
She laughed. "I like dogs. I like cats too."
"One of each then?" he asked.
Jen tipped her head. "I could accept that compromise."
"Good." He rolled over her again to the accompaniment of the creaking bedframe.
"How's your bed?" she asked.
"Actually, I just bought a new one. A very big. Very strong. Very quiet one." He kissed a different part of her body between each sentence until he latched onto the skin of her neck and nipped.
She hissed in a breath and said, "Perfect," before she pulled him up to meet her mouth.
