He dipped his head and dropped to one knee as a million flashes went off, but Luke’s gaze drowned out everything else.
Leona covered her heart as it started racing.
“I didn’t know what I was looking for until I found you. Spend the rest of your life with me.”
She nodded, tears filling her eyes. “Yes,” she whispered, then said it louder.
Luke put a beautiful princess cut diamond on her finger and grinned. “Figured any bigger and you would have trouble typing.”
“It’s beautiful and perfect.”
He stood and lifted her off her feet as her arms went around her neck. “Never letting you go, Leona.”
“You’re stuck with me.”
Raven squeezed Leona’s arm. “Now we can go in.”
Luke led her inside, where they found Mona and Roach waiting. Mona took Leona’s hand. “That is some rock. Pretty sure selling the rights was the right move.”
Leona looked back at Luke. Definitely. And by the time the credits rolled, she was sure of it.
Foreword
For those off you curious about Raven’s story, I’ve already written her book. That falls under the Combustible series and takes place seven to eight years later. That one is Falling Star.
I’ll be writing Ryan’s book sometime in the near future. If you want some more insight to his character, and you haven’t ready Falling Star, you can learn more about him. Ryan’s book will span from shortly after this book, until after Falling Star. The reading order will be up to you.
I have at least one more book after Ryan’s book to write in this series, but I’m already thinking of more stories to tell in their community.
