      “I love you.”

“Precious, I am the luckiest man in the world.”

      Epilogue

“The Waverley is still our number-one best seller,” Tor told her as his hand caught and held hers.

“I’m not surprised.” She had suggested rich caramel ice cream, caramel sauce and chocolate-covered caramel wafers as a menu item for Lickety Split. It had been an instant hit.

“And people said it wouldn’t last.” Tor pulled her close to him and smiled into her eyes. “After two years it’s still number one and going strong.”

It had been the best two years of her life. Their wedding had been a simple affair with close family and friends followed by an ice cream reception at Lickety Split. Waverley had never expected marriage to be easy. How could it be when two people from two different backgrounds came together? But it was certainly worth every roller coaster ride moment.

“It will always be number one.”

Tor lifted her hand and kissed her palm. “Come with me.”

When he looked at her like that she knew it meant only one thing. Another trip to the freezer. They had honeymooned in the Snowy Mountains. Cold brought them together and sealed their fate. Waverley was wet just thinking about being with Tor. Would that ever change?

“I swear I am going to get freezer burn on my ass one of those days.”

“Yeah, but it will be worth it,” Tor murmured in amusement.
