He leaned down and kissed her, slow and gentle. “I’m game if you are.”
“I’ve been game since the first morning you entered my life.”
“Good, cuz if you’re taking on Ryan Nicols as a client, you’re going to need as much protection as he is when the shit hits the fan.”
She pulled Tony down into the bed next to her and scooted over to make room for him. “You’re right. Why didn’t I think of that? I’ll definitely need 24/7 security.”
“Yep, all day and all night.” He fumbled at putting an arm around her, trying to find a safe place with all her bandages. Finally, he gave up and simply nuzzled her earlobe. “Think you can handle me?”
She nestled into him.
Home.
“I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to it. I feel safer already. I love you, Tony.”
“I love you, too, Fallyn. You believe I saved you, but honey, you saved me. Believe it. You’re stuck now. I’m never leaving your side.” He kissed her forehead. “Get some sleep. We have a big day tomorrow and a whole lifetime of craziness ahead of us. You’re going to need your energy.”
Fallyn closed her eyes and smiled. Following her lead, Tony rested his head back and closed his eyes. Sleep. Finally. It wasn’t his bed, but with Fallyn next to him, it was where he belonged.
