    All the Way

      He’s fucking hot.

Once his shirt is open, I set to work kissing him, leaving wet spots all over as I move down his torso to his navel and bite him, just to the left of it.

      “Ouch.”

“I didn’t hurt you. Much.” I smile up at him, laughing when I see that he’s crossed his arms behind his head and he’s comfortable, watching me do my thing. “Do you need popcorn?”

      “Maybe later.”

I chuckle and continue on my journey, exploring the muscular abs, the smooth sides, the little scar over one rib.

      “How did you get this?”

“I fell off of my bike when I was nine.”

“Ouch.” I kiss it. I’m rubbing my body over his, enjoying the way his hard dick feels against my stomach.

“You know you’re killing me, right?”

      “Who, me?”

“There’s no one else here, baby.”

“I don’t know what you mean.”

But I work my way lower, and slowly unfasten his belt, then his pants, and pull them down over his hips and legs, tossing them over the side of the bed.

“How is your skin always tan?”

      “I’m Italian,” he says. “Permatan.”

“Must be nice.” My hands glide up and down his legs. I love the way the hair feels on my palms. “I like your legs.”

“So you’re with me for my legs and my ass?”

“And maybe your tan,” I say, and stick my tongue out at him. “And possibly because I love you.”

      “Possibly?”

      “Probably.”

He switches our positions again, tucking me under him, bracing himself over me on his elbow. He presses his lips to my cheek. “Just probably?”

I shrug a shoulder, and he grins against my skin, his free hand gliding down my stomach until his fingers press against my clit. “What about now?”

“Yes, it’s probable that I love you.”

He shifts his hips between my legs and pushes his cock inside me, balls-deep, and cups my face in his big hands.

      “London.”

      “Yeah.”

His thumbs are making circles on the apples of my cheeks and he’s staring deeply into my eyes.

“I love you, more than I ever thought it was possible to love another person. It seems that you came crashing into my life in one big, magical storm, and I can’t remember what it was like before you.”

I shift, clenching down on him. “I love you too. So much that it sometimes scares me.”

“Baby.” He kisses my cheek. “There’s nothing to be afraid of.”

“There’s everything to be afraid of.” I swallow hard and feel tears threaten as he rears his hips back and begins to move gently. “But I’m so in love with you, and I just don’t know what I would do without you in my life.”

“You don’t ever have to find out,” he promises. He’s moving in earnest now, pushing us both to the edge of reason, threatening to throw us both off of the edge into oblivion.

He pushes one hand under me, cups my ass, and tilts my hips up, taking the angle to an all-new point of delirium, and I know I’m so damn close.

“Do it,” he whispers. “Go over, my love. I’ll catch you.”

And that’s all it takes for me to see nothing but stars explode around me. I’m shivering, breathing hard when I feel him lose it, and I cradle him to me, combing my fingers through his hair.

“I ruined your shower,” he says once we’ve caught our breath. He stands, and holds his hand out for mine. “Come on.”

I happily follow him into the bathroom, where he starts the hot water and leads me inside.

I expect him to boost me up against the wall and take me on ride number two, but he doesn’t. He smiles softly, contentedly, and soaps up a sponge to wash me with. He’s thorough, washing places that didn’t even get dirty.

And when he’s done, I take the sponge from him and return the favor, washing him down.

I work shampoo through his hair too, trying to ignore his hands gripping on to my ass as I concentrate on the task at hand.

“You’re good at that,” he murmurs.

“I’ve been washing my hair for a long time.”

      “You’re also a smartass.”

“Oh yeah. I’m a big ol’ smartass.” He slaps my behind, making me jump in surprise, and then laugh. “You have a thing for smacking my ass.”

      “I won’t deny it.”

Once he’s rinsed, he dries us both, and then leads me back to the bed, tucking us both under the covers.

“I thought we were going on the roof?”

“We will, in just a minute. I know we’ll only be apart for a couple of days, but I want to hold you for a minute longer.”

I smile and settle against him, enjoying the sound of his breathing and the quiet. He takes my left hand in his and kisses my knuckles, then each of the fingers, pausing on my ring finger. He’s quiet, frowning.

“What is it?” I ask. He’s been in such an odd mood today.

“So, when do I get to put a ring on this finger?”

      Acknowledgments

There are always so many people to thank, so many hours put in by the whole team in writing and releasing a new book into the world.

I would like to thank my agent, Kevan Lyon, for being a rock in this sometimes topsy-turvy publishing world. I am so grateful for you!

To Tessa Woodward, my editor at William Morrow, thank you for all of the hard work that you put into every single book. All the Way, in particular, was a tricky one, and I appreciate your dedication to making sure this book was everything that it could be.

I need to also thank my team: Pamela Carrion, Lori Francis, Nina Grinstead, and Rachel Starr. Thank you for everything that you do for me, every day.

To my family: thank you for your unwavering love and support.

And to John: You are the best part of every day. Always.
