“We’ll have this baby.” He took her hands in his. “When?”
“Which when? When, the wedding? Or when, the baby?”
“Both. Either.”
“Baby, in July. Wedding? That’s up for debate.”
He threw up his hands. “No argument from me. Get with your mother and figure it out. I want to marry you before our little cupcake starts to rise.”
She groaned and then giggled. “That was pretty bad, but I’ll take it.”
He kissed her and pulled back to press his brow to hers. “I love you, Caro. I’ll love our baby, too.”
She cuddled against him and he held her as close as possible. It was amazing, really. How his life had changed since coming to Cypress. Yeah, he had a great job. He had friends now, too. But most importantly, he had Caro.
She was his love. His life. His family. She gave him everything he’d ever dreamed of as a kid, and she was his forever.
