About the Author
IRIS SMYLES’ stories and essays have appeared in the Atlantic, the New York Times, Bomb, the New York Observer, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, the Best American Travel Writing 2015, among other publications and anthologies. She was a humor columnist for Splice Today and edited and wrote the afterword for the cult book The Capricious Critic. Her acclaimed first novel, Iris Has Free Time, was published in 2013. She lives in New York and Greece.
