With his marriage now torn apart by lies and deceit, James is faced with trying answer the questions his heart has always been asking him. Had she been his one true love? Was she the missing piece in his life? James is deeply saddened by Karen Mettle's sudden death. It had been several years since they had laid in each other's arms under the stars that summer, but the memory of how she made him feel had always stayed with him. Now that she was gone, James was left to face the hurt and pain caused by the emptiness her love had left in his heart. James' marriage is ruined and the relationship he once had with his loving wife cannot be salvaged. Caught it a sordid affair of his own, it does not shock James when he finds out about his wife's own indiscretions. Unable to come to terms with all that has happened to him over the last several years, James spends the day after the funeral recalling his life from the moment he first met Karen. This is a story of love found and love lost, but more importantly, the undeniable power of love.     Body & Soul

      Stacey Kade
     Body & Soul

The final book in The Ghost and the Goth Trilogy! The Ghost I’ve been trapped in the body of Lily “Ally” Turner for a month now. Talk about a fashion crisis on an epic scale. What worries me more, though, is sometimes I catch Will looking at me like he thinks I’m Lily...or that he wishes I were. Without the good looks of my former self, I don’t know who I am, or if who that is is good enough. I need out of this mess. Now. Will and I have been looking for a solution, one that would separate me from Lily without killing her. But it’s not going well. Then, when it seems like things couldn’t get any worse, we run into Misty, my former best friend and boyfriend-stealer extraordinaire, who claims she’s being haunted...by me. Seriously? I’m determined to get to the bottom of who’s pretending to be the spirit of Alona Dare (while I’m pretending to be someone else) and then get the heck out of this body. Or die trying... The Goth I’ll admit it. It’s really weird to look at Alona but see Lily. I do know the difference, though, contrary to what Alona might be saying. And Alona is more than a pretty face to me, not that she would believe that. Our one lead for some help in this messed up situation might be a page torn from the yellow pages-—the “Psychics” section-—I found in my dad’s stuff. One of the “fakes” seems a bit more real-—and odd-—than the others. Before I can investigate further, though, Alona is off and chasing a ghost that’s probably nothing more than a figment of Misty’s guilty imagination. Now Lily’s family is freaking out because she didn’t come home, my mom is ordering me to stay out of it, and something is definitely wrong with the person formerly known as Lily “Ally” Turner...

    Red Hair

      Elinor Glyn
     Red Hair

Dodo Collections brings you another classic from Elinor Glyn, ‘Red Hair.’ The story revolves around the young, bold Evangeline who is determined to run away and embark on an exciting adventure. Elinor Glyn (1864 - 1943) was a British novelist and scriptwriter. She became famous for her romantic fiction, which was considered scandalous for its time. This early work is highly recommended for fans of the genre, and it will be of special utility to those with an interest in the evolution and development of romance writing. Elinor Glyn began her writing in 1900, starting with a book based on letters to her mother, ‘The Visits of Elizabeth’. And thereafter she more or less wrote one book each year to keep the wolf from the door, as her husband was debt-ridden from 1908, and also to keep up her standard of living. After several years of illness her husband died in 1915. Early in her writing career she was recognised as one of the pioneers of what could be called erotic fiction, although not by modern-day standards, and she coined the use of the world ‘It’ to mean at the time sex-appeal and she helped to make Clara Bow a star by the use of the sobriquet for her of ‘The It Girl’.  On the strength of her reputation and success she moved to Hollywood in 1920 and in 1921 was featured as one of the famous personalities in a Ralph Barton cartoon drawn especially for ‘Vanity Fair’ magazine.  A number of her books were made into films, most notably ‘Beyond the Rocks’ (1906), which starred Rudolph Valentino and Gloria Swanson, and she was a scriptwriter for the silent movie industry, working for both MGM and Paramount Pictures in the mid-1920s. In addition she also had a brief career as one of the earliest female directors.
