    Edward - Interactive

      Mike Voyce
     Edward - Interactive

What is Past and what is Present? Edward came to light in 1990 and changed my life; the events around Edward happened in the 1480s and 1490s. Can the Past change the Present, or the other way around? This book's truth, with pains-taking detail, of both then and now, may provoke. Edward could have ended Tudor tyranny with the cup, the sword and druid glass. Let's end that tyranny over the present. If you’re very clever, and very lucky, you will learn from the practice of Law, sometimes even in the court itself, that the Truth is subjective. The truth of a novel is also subjective and, exactly as with a just and winning case, the truth of a great novel will stay with you and change your life. In Edward I have played with the Truth; taking exact and accurate facts to tell a particular story, which for 500 years was obscured from History. Here you will not find internal inconsistency or lapses of plot. Reviewers like it; but, if all I wanted was popularity I would not have told a story from the Life. The power of Edward bends Reality such that further doors have been opened, through 2 websites and numerous hyperlinks they have been opened for you.In the latest edition of Edward I have played with this access to Reality, through more than 60 hyperlinks, including 2 dedicated video links, you can explore issues surrounding Edward; from the recorded history of characters around him to the legend of the Holy Grail, from present day places to the sound of medieval music, even spirit guides. The interactive edition of Edward is revolutionary; it should change the nature of eBooks, and for that reason I’m now giving it away free. Beyond Edward itself, I wish to demonstrate what can be done with eBooks, simple principles which could be used by any writer or publisher. Download it soon, for there will come a time when the point of my humble innovation will have been made, and I shall impose a charge.Edward was the heir to the duke of Buckingham, the rightful heir to the throne, on the run for his life from Richard III at the age of 5, and hardly safer under the new king; but what of that dangerous woman the King’s mother, Eadie whom he loved and Alainore whom he would be forced to marry? For more of his story, or for that of the author, a senior partner in a Law firm, locked in unravelling what happened 500 years ago, you can see the description of the original edition (still available at Smashwords) or Google Mike Voyce.

Nevil Shute wrote this prophetic novel just before the start of the Second World War. In it he imagines the devastation that results from an aerial bomb attack on Southampton that destroys the city's infrastructure and leaves the inhabitants at the mercy of cholera and further assaults. Against this dramatic backdrop, Shute grippingly chronicles the trials and tribulations of the Corbett family as they struggle to get to safety.

    Too Late: A Dramatic Play

      Laura Shinn
     Too Late: A Dramatic Play

This is a short play centered on the consequences of entering eternity without salvation, given freely by the grace of God. It's designed for the Christian church (youth group), regardless of denomination. It's very intense and will draw a highly emotional and hopefully spiritual response from anyone without Christ who sees it. Make sure your soul is prepared...before it's Too Late.If 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' met 'Inception' in the shadow of Norwich Cathedral the result would be 'In Dreams' by James Eddy...When Oliver Bell meets a beautiful young woman one night in his dreams, he literally can’t get her out of his mind. Unfortunately, he also can’t tell if she’s anything more than just a wonderful figment of his imagination. It’s only when she starts leaving him clues for how to find her in the real world that Oliver’s sense of fantasy and reality begin to blur into something strange and new. The journey that follows takes Oliver everywhere he can imagine and beyond; across the country to a city he doesn’t know, to things from his terrible past he would rather forget; over concrete and bluebells and snow and ice; all leading him to the truth that love can exist in dreams.

    A Door in the Mirror

      PW Cooper
     A Door in the Mirror

Collected Short Fiction 2010-2014. These nine short stories explore a wide spectrum of ideas, ranging from religious freedom to economic deprivation to the dark turbulence of masculine sexuality. What is the price of making dreams come true? Can they simply be bought with money, or do they require something different? Greg wants to see his dreams come true -- to furnish his apartment with nice things, to find the perfect girl to share it with, and to ultimately become a bigger success than his father had been -- but life keeps finding ways to alter his plans. Can Greg adapt to life's little wrenches and overcome impoverishing events to bring his dreams to reality? Or will he succumb to the hardships of being twentysomething and accept the life of economic misfortune that hounds him?"Shell Out" is the humorous story of a college student's battle with those pesky opposing forces of nature that plague us all: life and desire, ambition and contentment, dreams and reality. It is the story of any of us who has ever had to fend for ourselves in the real world but weren't sure if we'd ever make it. Greg's farcical journey to tame his wallet and fulfill his dreams takes him through the common struggles of young adulthood, including figuring out how to survive a Friday night on a ten-dollar bill, acquiescing to paying bills in spite of not having a job, taking jobs that only a desperate loon would take, working toward a better life in order to win the heart of a girl, and other crazy situations. The question is, are his efforts worth it, or is he just chasing yesterday's American Dream? For those thirty and older who wish to remember their own crazy experiences as a twentysomething, Greg's strange odyssey of economic survival is a comedy. For those currently living the twentysomething life, or those about to approach it, Greg's journey is a horror story. It's a lot like life: a scary comedy that forces us to question our choices."Shell Out" also comes with previews for some of my upcoming books.

    Narcissus and Goldberg

      Barry Rachin
     Narcissus and Goldberg

Beatrice Goldberg doesn't much like Hispanics, biker broads, Franciscan monks, skinheads, or even salt-of-the-earth blue collar types, but she is going to get a double dose of all of the above, when she visits Our Lady of La Salette Shrine in Attleboro, Massachusetts.By the year 2335 many cultures and species were living and working through the known universe. That universe covered numerous planets and many light years of distance and most were only reachable by faster than light (FTL) vessels. This did not hamper travel to and from as faster than light capability had long been acquired and distributed. Any world that had, in any way on their own, already reached into or explored outer space in any fashion had the option of receiving or rejecting this FTL knowledge. It was found that no matter what species was encountered, the problems they experience were present in almost all cultures. Outbreaks of hostility was somehow common to all and the prevention of those hostility fell on the Universal Galactic Governing Board (UGGB). This board was made up of representatives, one from each world that had accepted the FTL capability. This conglomerate of species general had only one conferences every five years to record changes in delegates and address universal problems. On the other hand, an emergency meeting could be called at any time if something problematic was encountered that threatened security and peace. The UGGB was not designed to be the peace negotiators nor were they schooled in that capacity. They, however, did setup an organization with this single purpose. This organization's only duty was to try to negotiate a peaceful settlement between worlds who were, for whatever reason, at war with each other. These brave souls who went into harm's way were called Coordinators.
