     It’s a High Voltage Adventure

Nathaniel S. Rounds sits behind the steering wheel of life and weaves a tale of service jobs and common folk... It’s a High Voltage Adventure examines the day to day, diving in for a bird’s eye view and pulling away for the Big Picture. Phyllis Johnson, author of Being Frank with Anne (poetry about Anne Frank)Review of It’s a High Voltage Adventure Nathaniel S. Rounds sits behind the steering wheel of life and weaves a tale of service jobs and common folk. He writes of the fatherhood of pig adoption, whether it be by bequeathing or building a cellar accidentally accessible to creatures. In a Maddening Large Arsonist, thievery reigns and the poem Fake References reveals to us the need to background check even a dog sitter. The poem, Pull, is part reflection, part fear and part anticipation. He deeply ponders artwork, calling a landscape painting an entombed land. Pirate Talk is a bit of primate whimsy. The chapbook concludes with You There, a sobering commentary on the shortness of life and the lack of respect for those older than us.     Transcendology Can Reform Religions

      Peace Seeker
     Transcendology Can Reform Religions

A screenplay about a spiritual journey that can bring new perspectives into religions. John was mentally in sync with the entire community. It was like Tapping Into the Mind of God. This Higher Self is called by many different names, but it ultimately is beyond any metaphysical concept. Spiritual seekers have experienced the enlightenment and tranquility that makes life enjoyable.Spirituality and theology has intrigued man since the beginning of rational thought. Many argue that rationality in religion is an oxymoron. This may be true since much of the monotheistic belief system is based on superstitions. Rationality in religion is possible if it is based on the tenet of Transcendology; it asserts that truthfulness and rationality in religions are truths that can be substantiated by science or those that cannot be proven to be incorrect. It is a doctrine and proclamation that spiritual transcendence and spiritual interaction, if one believes this to be an actuality, could only be possible between the spiritual existence and the spirit of man. Supernatural acts performed by physical or spiritual beings in the physical universe are not capable of existing or transpiring, BUT spiritual interaction can give you heaven on earth. The spirit or soul exists in the collective mental processes of the subconscious the subconscious part of the mind and is also where the mental processes of creativity originate. The conscience adds to and stores life experiences into the subconscious of the mind, which is the spirit or soul. If the conscience is anesthetized by other than righteous conduct the existence of the spirit gradually fades and is eventually extinguished. Existence is reality. When physical existence ceases, conclusions are often surmised that all existence ceases and spirituality is sometimes perceived to be an illusion in the physical dimension. The Ultimate Reality is spiritual and is often an illusion to the physical reality. It is of no importance during our physical life whether a Spiritual Existence or God exists or not if one so chooses. Whether or not one believes in a spirit or God really makes no difference. Righteous living will determine the continuance and destiny of our spirit/soul. One's life can be enhanced by receiving solace and being comforted during life's trials and tribulations and by having our spirit rejoice by a belief and hope of a spiritual continuance immediately prior to physical death. The alternative is despair of a complete and useless death forever.

G-TRAX Devo's-Real People, Real Faith: Gideon

      Ron Fast
G-TRAX Devo's-Real People, Real Faith: Gideon

Sometimes when God gives us something to do, like live an extreme Christian life, we think that we won’t have the strength to do the thing He asked us to do. We need to remember that God never expects us to do anything on our own strength. Just like Gideon, we need to have faith and obey while relying on Him. Gideon assumed that his weaknesses and limitations would prevent God from working.Moses did the same thing and God got a little hacked at him. Gideon, like each of us, always has some lame excuse why we can’t or won’t obey God. “AHHHH!! God, I can’t spend time in the Bible. I sprained my finger turning the pages and it hurts soooo bad.” or “Hey God, why don’t you ask someone else who is more qualified.” or “God, you have no idea how busy I am. Please don’t add any more to my schedule”. Imagine trying to update God on our current situation. Like He doesn’t know everything about us already. How lame is that?
