     Fantastic Hill Trek

The travelogue gives a vivid account of his adventure to Sandhak-Fu, the peak which gives the magnificent views of mount Everest and Kanchenjunga and his journey through vales and forests around this peak.Chase Larsen is a man of many sides, one of a vanishing breed, an adventurer who spent much of his life overseas. At forty-five he has two longtime companions, a dog and a Harley. He has been through many countries, many scrapes, but yet is a man of old-fashioned values and strong beliefs.Called home to South Florida to bury his sister, Sophie, Chase was told that she died accidentally, struck by lightning. A visit from an old friend, Annie, an erstwhile biker chick and now respected private eye, proves otherwise. She shows Chase a photograph of the scene where Sophie died and at once Chase realizes that something is wrong. A violent storm may have killed his sister but the ground where she died is dry and undisturbed. Sophie’s body had been dumped there.Arriving home, Chase finds a message from a coworker of Sophie’s and arranges a meet in the Everglades for the following day. When Chase arrives he is met by Joe Keel, a Seminole, who takes Chase by airboat to a small island hidden in the mangroves. Joe tells Chase how, on a camping trip to the Keys, Sophie had stumbled on something unbelievable. These two men have one obsession, to find the truth. They will do so at any cost. The chase is on.

    Pangaea

      Revelly Robinson
     Pangaea

Pangaea is a gripping exploration of prevalent social themes such as slavery, privacy and globalisation taking place in a futuristic setting 200 years from now. It is a disturbing look into a future where the global thirst for power blurs the lines between humanity and resources, leading to the perpetration of unspeakable atrocities against humanity.Set in the year 2257, this novel follows the journey of Chantel Wild, a relatively ordinary technical engineer who works for the largest and most powerful global corporation on the planet, Pangaea. Chantel has a chip embedded in her head, upon which she can download the latest forms of entertainment. Chantel chooses to download a movie entitled Soul from a Pangaea download station. When she loads up Soul on her hologram viewer she finds a glitch on the download that shows her images of dark-skinned pureblood people mindlessly encircling a massive contraption. Intrigued, she enlists the help of her friend Beren Marley, a convicted hacker who had previously been paralysed in an automobile chase from the global police. Immediately upon viewing the footage, Beren is set for adventure. He convinces Chantel to travel to the other side of the world to the city of Freetown, where the coordinates suggest that the footage was taken. They are referred to the courageous Captain Julie to transport them across the seas on the rickety boat, the Saharan. On the way, the Saharan is attacked by the pirate ship Kazaa, a behemoth of a vessel spearheaded by the ferocious Captain Condor. Condor extracts Chantel’s intellectual property from her chip and inadvertently copies a version of the glitch. His Auntie Jane then discovers the glitch and is intrigued by the purebloods featured on the footage. She insists on travelling to the wasteland zone to visit a man who leads them to the source of the glitch in Freetown. There they learn that the footage displays the most horrendous evil perpetrated upon people in history – slavery. A shocked Chantel and Beren then travel to Shanghai to report the crimes being committed in Freetown and discover more than they expected to about the people in power.

    Scroll of Eden

      Judah LaBrie
     Scroll of Eden

Book One in the Passing Evils Series. Set in a time when men had stopped calling on God, and the great flood had not yet occurred. A tribe of giants seeks a scroll written by Adam, a map back to Eden. Shamal must convince a kingdom to destroy the scroll before it is found by the giants. He thought about how similar he was to the Scroll of Eden, ancient, wrinkled and forgotten. It represented an old hope, he was himself at one time, the hope of the people, “the swordsman of the gods.” he was once called. He led an army against the giants, defeated them, sent the few that survived back into hiding. Mostly legend now, he was hardly talked about by the descendants of those that once praised him. The Scroll of Eden is a map from Adam to his son Seth, leading to the Garden of Eden. Written in the ancient language, Shamal had only set his eyes on the scroll once. He spoke and read the archaic language well. A simple tongue, with beautiful syllables, meant to be sung. But the old language was as forgotten as the scroll, as himself. Now years later, the scroll that has changed hands through seasons of kingdoms and wars, is being hunted. Shamal must destroy the scroll before the evil that seeks it, finds it, and finds the garden. In the garden, is the tree in which its fruit offers eternal life, immortality to the one who tastes the fruit. They would become godlike, and unstoppable.
