  I looked at the other man who was now approaching me and instantly recognized him as Mendel. “What?” I gasped, still trying to find my strength.

  Mendel walked right up to me, grabbed me by the shirt and pulled me to his face. He whispered into my ear, “If you want something done right, do it yourself,” he too removed a stun gun from his pocket and applied it directly to my neck. A searing heat filled my body before everything went black.
